You Can Speak Up For Those Who Can’t
Between now and the end of 2016, we hope you’ll take a few moments to pause. To reflect. To be grateful. To think of others. And to Speak Up* for those who cannot. In this special and blessed time of the year, may our thoughts be with those less fortunate than we are. May we be mindful and aware of our blessings and our advantages. May we take action to make the world a better place.
Consider this: While I am shopping for gifts, a Dalit child in India is working in a brick factory. While I am decorating my home for Christmas, a Dalit child is frightened that his home may not be safe. While I am trying not to gain a few pounds, a Dalit child is going to bed hungry. Although these scenes are difficult to reflect upon, they are real.
But you can make a difference. You can Speak Up!
From now until the end of the year, we will give you tangible (and easy) ideas to help you Speak Up for vulnerable Dalit children and women in India.
